A Thanksgiving to Share Letter

Dear Donors

We’re celebrating 21 years of serving Thanksgiving dinners to the Hot Springs and surrounding communities! Thanks to the generosity of people like you and your contributions to A Thanksgiving to Share, we collectively provided over 2,700 families and other charitable organizations throughout the Hot Springs and Garland County community with a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal in 2024. These included winter clothing items, non-perishable food, blankets, and hygiene necessities. Your donations and unwavering support made all this possible!

With your continued generosity, we have been able to provide this service for 20 consecutive years to the citizens of Hot Springs, AR. What started out as a day of sharing food and fellowship on Thanksgiving Day has evolved into a multi-day event where residents can access life’s basic essentials for survival: food, clothing, and social services opportunities. The ongoing community support has enabled us to reach thousands this past year through our 4th Saturday event, Food for Thought. This monthly food, nutrition, and resource program on the East End of Hot Springs, AR, provides vulnerable citizens with access to life-saving resources 13 times a year.

However, the need has grown, and the population we serve has increased. While our passion and purpose remain unchanged, this year's “A Thanksgiving to Share” will be delivery-only to meet the growing demands of our community. We are requesting your charitable donation more than ever. Each dinner we deliver to a family of four costs approximately $20. Last year, we fed nearly 2,700 families. Can we count on you this year to sponsor at least one family?
